Agenda Austria is fully independent of the state, political parties, professional associations and interest groups. The first think tank of its kind in the country, Agenda Austria was set up to shed light on the country’s social policies and its economy, and to devise innovative responses to the key challenges we face.

Agenda Austria highlights simple and straightforward approaches to safeguarding and enhancing the welfare of the population. Ways of relieving the tax burden on the man and woman in the street without driving the state into financial ruin. Ways of promoting entrepreneurship and a harmonious society without the need to increase reallocation of resources by the state year for year. Ways of enabling people once again to create wealth and reap the rewards of their own hard work.

Funding
Agenda Austria is a privately funded organisation and we do not accept external commissions for studies. Individual shares of our supporting members don’t exceed ten percent of the total budget.

What We Do
Agenda Austria carries out detailed academic studies, and we have complete freedom when it comes to choosing the topics we will focus on. Our financial backers have no influence over Agenda Austria’s academic activities, and quality assurance is the sole responsibility of the Academic Advisory Board.

Our work is open and unbiased, with a focus on market-based solutions. The studies and analyses we carry out are aimed at a wide audience.
